Consumption Patterns Consistent with Positive Change

Leslie Hamilton – a student at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College – will be presenting her project titled “Responsible Consumerism”  at TDC’s upcoming 2012 Poverty Action Conference (www.povertyactionconference.org ).

Here is a sneak peek at Leslie’s project:

“This project focuses on helping students identify their spending/saving habits and the motivating factors behind them; uncover the true impact of their buying power; and learn how to make choices that will allow them to afford the lives they want and still be able to make a positive impact on others”

If you are a student looking for an opportunity to present your work in the area of global development, we invite you to Register to Present at the 2012 Poverty Action Conference. The deadline is September 21.  See you in October?
